Since July 2024, we at the UK Veterans Hearing Foundation have partnered with Echoz CIC to support veterans suffering from hearing loss and tinnitus. Together, we are combining our resources and expertise to positively impact the lives of those who served.
This collaboration helps us address the unique challenges that veterans with hearing difficulties face. By providing advanced care and ongoing support, we aim to help veterans reconnect with their communities and improve their quality of life.

Their core services include acoustic, vibration, and dust monitoring, along with air tightness and acoustic insulation testing for homes. Echoz CIC is committed to both technical excellence and giving back to the community.
Social responsibility is a key part of Echoz CIC’s mission. They demonstrate this by donating 70% of their profits to support veterans with hearing issues. This generous contribution makes a significant difference to those in need. Their commitment aligns perfectly with our mission at UKVHF, and we are honored to have their support in improving the quality of life for veterans struggling with hearing difficulties.
By supporting UKVHF, Echoz CIC helps us provide essential care and support to veterans. Together, we ensure that veterans can reconnect with loved ones and regain their independence.
How Echoz CIC Support the UKVHF
Echoz CIC has made an incredible commitment by donating £500 each month to the foundation. This consistent funding is crucial. It allows us to expand our reach and provide essential support to veterans with hearing loss and tinnitus.
These monthly contributions help us achieve our goals. They enable us to provide high-quality hearing aids, along with aftercare and mental health support. This support makes a real difference in improving the quality of life for those who have served. We believe this is just the start of the positive impact we will create through this partnership.
Future Plans
The monthly donation from Echoz CIC is just the beginning of their support for UKVHF. Echoz CIC have stated they would like to expand their efforts and offer additional support in the future, with plans already in the making. To learn more, visit our dedicated partnership page.
Both organisations share a vision of making a lasting impact on the lives of veterans. Our partnership aims to create real, positive change for as many veterans as possible, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store.
The Impact on Veterans’ Lives
Veterans face unique challenges with hearing loss, especially those exposed to gunfire, artillery, and other loud noises during their service. Many veterans suffer from high-frequency sensorineural hearing loss, which cannot be adequately addressed with standard NHS hearing aids. This type of hearing loss makes it difficult to understand speech, particularly in noisy environments. As a result, many veterans experience frustration and withdraw from social activities.
With generous funding from organisations like Echoz CIC, we can provide veterans with advanced, custom-fit hearing aids that meet their specific needs. These devices go beyond what standard options can offer, giving veterans the best possible support. At UKVHF, we also provide related support services, including ongoing aftercare. This helps veterans adapt to their new hearing aids and make the most of the technology.
By offering appropriate hearing aids and support, we help veterans avoid the serious consequences of untreated hearing loss. These consequences include isolation, depression, and the inability to engage in everyday activities. Through our partnership, we aim to improve veterans’ quality of life and reconnect them with their communities.
Pathway to Support: Our Approach
We take a holistic approach to supporting veterans. We make sure they receive both initial care and ongoing support.
Our process begins with a free hearing test to assess the veteran’s specific needs. Once we make a diagnosis, we provide advanced hearing aids tailored to the type of hearing loss the veteran is experiencing. Accessories are provided as needed. If veterans are struggling with tinnitus or mental health issues along with hearing loss, we also assist with those challenges.
Our pathway includes three years of extensive aftercare. This covers adjustments, reprogramming, and component changes, ensuring veterans are fully supported. We are always just a phone call or email away and ready to assist.
This pathway aims to benefit veterans suffering from hearing loss in all possible areas of their lives. We address not only hearing difficulties but also related challenges like tinnitus and mental health concerns. By providing holistic support, we strive to improve every aspect of veterans’ well-being, helping them overcome both physical and emotional struggles that often accompany hearing loss.
Gratitude and Looking Forward
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Echoz CIC for their generous and ongoing support of UKVHF. Their dedication to giving back makes a real difference. We are incredibly thankful for their willingness to stand alongside us in our mission.
We look forward to the positive outcomes this partnership will bring to veterans who need it most. Together, we are not only providing essential hearing care but also ensuring veterans feel supported, valued, and connected.
As we continue this journey, we remain hopeful for the future. We are confident that we can help many more veterans overcome the challenges of hearing loss and regain what it has taken from them.
