Bubble Rush To Raise Money For ‘Once We Were Soldiers’
‘Once We Were soldiers’ main priorities are homeless veterans that have fallen upon hard times and those that find it difficult to adjust to civilian life.
The number of military personnel now suffering with PTSD or other mental health conditions are rising rapidly. Many veterans find themselves homeless, with no hope, no support and through no fault of their own. They turn to alcohol or drugs or both to help them through each day, to block out the horrors they have persistent flashbacks of.
Hear4u, HealthscreenUK and UK Veterans Hearing Help came together on Saturday 30th June for the fabulous cause, Once we were soldiers! The sun was shining and it was a fantastic day!
Greeted by a bangra group for an exercise warm up whilst people were entering the event, food stalls all around and great atmosphere throughout- we were engaged and ready!
What better way to make the most of a glorious day by taking part in the 5k “Rush” through the sunshine and jumping through 5 different coloured bubble stations.
