Acceptance of any contribution, gift or grant is at the discretion of the Uk Veterans Hearing Foundation. The Uk Veterans Hearing Foundation will not accept any gift unless it can be used or expended consistently with the purpose and mission of the Uk Veterans Hearing Foundation.
No irrevocable gift, whether outright or life-income in character, will be accepted if under any reasonable set of circumstances the gift would jeopardize the donor’s financial security.
The Uk Veterans Hearing Foundation will refrain from providing advice about the tax or other treatment of gifts and will encourage donors to seek guidance from their own professional advisers to assist them in the process of making their donation.
The Uk Veterans Hearing Foundation will accept donations of cash or publicly traded securities. Gifts of in-kind services will be accepted at the discretion of the Uk Veterans Hearing Foundation.
Certain other gifts, real property, personal property, in-kind gifts, non-liquid securities, and contributions whose sources are not transparent or whose use is restricted in some manner, must be reviewed prior to acceptance due to the special obligations raised or liabilities they may pose for Uk Veterans Hearing Foundation.
The Uk Veterans Hearing Foundation will provide acknowledgments to donors meeting tax requirements for property received by the charity as a gift. However, except for gifts of cash and publicly traded securities, no value shall be ascribed to any receipt or other form of substantiation of a gift received by Uk Veterans Hearing Foundation.
The Uk Veterans Hearing Foundation will respect the intent of the donor relating to gifts for restricted purposes and those relating to the desire to remain anonymous. With respect to anonymous gifts, the Uk Veterans Hearing Foundation will restrict information about the donor to only those staff members with a need to know.
The Uk Veterans Hearing Foundation will not compensate, whether through commissions, finders' fees, or other means, any third party for directing a gift or a donor to the Uk Veterans Hearing Foundation.

1. Interpretation
These Terms and Conditions (together with the terms, if any, set out in promotional activity instructions on the UK Veterans Hearing Foundation website) constitute the entire agreement between the parties. All other terms and conditions, express or implied by statute or otherwise, are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
UK Veterans Hearing Foundation may correct any typographical or other errors or omissions in any brochure, promotional literature, or other document relating to their promotional activity.
2. Eligibility
People wishing to enter the UK Veterans Hearing Foundations raffle (“the Promotion”) may only do so by completing a donation to the UK Veterans Hearing Foundation, the number of tickets will equal every £1 donated (rounded down if donation goes to decimal place), the winner will be picked on the 31 January 2021, the winner will be contacted via their papal account information the following business day.
A person will be deemed to be eligible (an "Eligible Person") for inclusion/participation into the UK Veterans Hearing Foundation Raffle if he/she is aged 18 or over and has a PayPal account.
Multiple participation is allowed via multiple donations.
UK Veterans Hearing Foundation accepts no responsibility whatsoever whether or not a person is found to be ineligible for entry into the UK Veterans Hearing Foundation Raffle. All donations received by UK Veterans Hearing Foundation, are treated as irrevocable gifts and as such are non-refundable under these Terms and Conditions.
3. Acceptance
No person is deemed to have been accepted until their donation has been received and they are over 18 years of age. If a person has been rejected, they will receive a notification email to this effect and may be subsequently contacted by phone if they have provided such information. Any reason for a rejection will only be given at the absolute discretion of the UK Veterans Hearing Foundation management.
All successful people will be given a Unique Reference Number (“URN”) and will be inputted to a random number generator which will choose the winner after the raffle ends.
4. Entry
Entry to the UK Veterans Hearing Foundation Raffle is available through donations where every £1 donated is equal to 1 ticket.

6. Responsibility
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law (but not otherwise) UK Veterans Hearing Foundation shall not be liable for any loss, damage or liability whatsoever or howsoever occasioned in direct or indirect connection to a participant or prospective participant who registers or attempts to register with incorrect details including but not limited to date-of-birth, telephone number, email address etc., or the loss, delayed or rejected application form or any communication sent to or received by or on behalf of UK Veterans Hearing Foundation including (but not limited to) a prize or other payment.
7. Termination
UK Veterans Hearing Foundation may, without giving reason or notice, decline to accept a donation, cancel an existing registration, terminate or suspend promotional activity.
UK Veterans Hearing Foundation shall not be liable to the registered person for any actual or perceived loss, damage or liability thereby arising. Prizes still outstanding from draws conducted prior to any termination or suspension shall still be honoured as will all outstanding donation payments. Prizes won after termination of an account shall be forfeited and default to a donation status.
8. General
Save where these terms and conditions expressly provide otherwise, UK Veterans Hearing Foundation shall not be obliged to respond to or enter into any correspondence. Any postal mail enquiries received by UK Veterans Hearing Foundation at its registered address must include a stamped addressed envelope or suitable email address for replies.
UK Veterans Hearing Foundation reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without notice. Any significant/material changes will be emailed to registered persons.
The laws of England and Wales shall apply to these terms and conditions and the parties hereby agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
